TC-2 Thermocouple Coupler

The TC-2 is an inductively coupled thermocouple data transfer coupler. Two, type J T/C are coupled across a 2-mm air gap, inductively. On the Mobile Ring (rotating) side, two thermocouples can be connected to the system. The T/C millivolt signals are measured, digitized then transferred to the stationary coupler. The measured temperature scale, 0…300 C is output as two, 4 to 20 mA analog signals, for interfacing to a PLC or test system. Basic system power is 24 V dc. Customer specific temperature ranges are possible.
