TRIME PICO32 Soil Moisture Probe

The PICO32 is one of TRIME’s newest probes for monitoring volumetric moisture and temperature in soil and other porous materials. The smaller (vs PICO64) measurement volume is idea for burying and connection to the GlobeLog (data logger) or for portable use, with the TRIME BT (Bluetooth) module and a PDA/smart-phone running MS Windows Mobile.

The pico32 incorporates TRIME’s newest TDR moisture measurement electronics with integrated temperature sensor.

The TRIME pico32 is compatible with the TRIME GlobeLog (data logger) using the IMPbus digital interface or with any analog data logger via the 2 x 0...1V DC outputs (for moisture and temperature). For highly saline environments the C-versions will operate where the soil water electrical conductivity is 10 dS/m. Standard are 110-mm rods or 50, 80 or 100-mm long rods. The TRIME pico64 is larger with longer probe rods for measurements of larger soil volumes.
