GD-422 Full Duplex Inductively Coupled Data Repeater Module

The GD-422 data repeater was developed for a US military program where a non contact full duplex inductively coupled data repeater system was required. The data stream is modulated to a FSK signal and transferred via the air gap between two identical units. The transferred data signal is demodulated and transferred via connector to the relevant data sinks. The system is powered with a 24 V DC (+/- 20 %) supply. The supply current is nominal 200 mA. With greater air gap distances the input current may also increase. The GD-422 Data Repeater operates in very demanding real world conditions, including dust, water and oil. Both modules are housed in a 30 mm diameter case, with no moving parts to wear out or service.
