3-Channel 12 V DC Power Coupler

The Special Truck/Trailer Signal & Brake Lights power coupling system is a 3-channel contact free power link between a fixed (stationary) module and a receiving (mobile) module. The stationary module inductively couples electrical power from a truck’s 12 V dc turn signals or brake light to the mobile module. Each module incorporates three (3) independent coupling channels, which can be operated separately.

The transfer of power is only possible while as the stationary and mobile units are facing and in alignment. In the mobile module, the transferred power is rectified and stabilized to 12 VDC at 500 mA. The mobile voltage outputs are current overload protected. The input power signals are connected to three channel-specific LEDs on the stationary module. The power receive is also monitored by 3 individual LEDs on the mobile module.
