IBC-2484 Inductive Charging Coupler

The IBC are a pair of ø1-in x 1.5-in long contact-free inductive power couplers with a linear charger controller for 2-cell Lithium-Ion or Lithium-polymer batteries. The fixed coupler inductively couples 2 Watts of electrical power across a small air gap to the mobile coupler which contains a charge control circuit for loading two lithium polymer/ion batteries. Lithium cell charge control is based on a Linear Technology, LTC 1731 chip. When connected to the batteries, the mobile coupler can supply regulated voltages to 1 amp for short durations. The stationary coupler is powered by 24 V dc and LED light when the couplers are aligned and operating.
